Raised in Connecticut by Jamaican and Grenadian parents, the young artist absorbed the energy from nearby scenes like a sponge, from New York City to Toronto. This hectic East Coast existence didn’t stop him from growing up as an aspiring athlete, academic, and occasional songwriter.
